For several years, Amarillo National Bank has been offering automatic overdraft protection for account holders. Thanks to a new government regulation, we can't automatically apply this protection to your debit card — unless you give us permission. That means your debit card won't work if you accidentally overdraw your account. Embarrassing, right?
At Amarillo National Bank we understand that mistakes happen, that's why we offer overdraft protection. We need your permission to apply overdraft protection to your card.
Apply Overdraft Protection
To apply overdraft protection to your account(s), either log in to online banking and click "Overdraft Protection" to use our secure online form or simply print the form, fill out and drop it by the nearest local branch or mail to:

Information about Overdraft Protection
- Fees $19 per item per day
- Overdraft protection available on checks, ACH, drafts plus ATM and debit card transactions with your authorization
- Customer is expected to cover the overdraft within a reasonable time period
- We reserve the right to pay overdrafts at our discretion
