  • Maintain a positive attitude and provide team support.
  • Individuals in this position will receive outgoing and incoming wire instructions over the telephone and from walk-in customers which are input on an automated system.  Learning to operate this system within established controls and procedures is a critical responsibility. 
  • An employee in this position may be responsible for reporting collected balance and cash letter information to downstream correspondent banks either by fax or phone. This individual is also responsible for advising correspondents and the individual monitoring the bank’s cash position of any problems with cash letter entries or availability.
  • Operate the Fedwire terminal.  It is vital that established controls and procedures are followed. 
  • Must follow established security and operating procedures, including internal controls.

Requirements:  

 A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  Associate’s degree preferred. One to two years banking experience preferred but not required. This position requires legible handwriting and good telephone communication skills. The abilities to type 40 words per minute use a 10 key by touch, and input data through a computer keyboard is required.
